“Growing Vital Congregations” is the theme for this year’s Eastern Pennsylvania Annual Conference, held May 15-17 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA.  Pat and George Robinson, along with Pastor Tim, will represent our church. 

Each year close to a thousand pastors and lay delegates meet to celebrate ministry which includes voting on resolutions, setting the conference budget and other business of the conference.  Also part of Annual Conference is the Memorial Service, setting of appointments, Commissioning and Ordination.

This year’s featured speaker will be Pastor Mike Slaughter from Ginghamsburg United Methodist church in Tip City, Ohio.  Ginghamsburg Church is one of the largest United Methodist Churches in the country.  In the late 1970s the church had 90 members and now has grown to five thousand.
