posted Jan 3, 2014, 4:45 PM by Lois Kerchner
The annual “Tools for Ministry” will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014, from 8:30 -12:30.  This year’s event will be held at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church 37 E. Main Street  in Mount Joy.  A key note address will cover ways we can reach out to those living in poverty.

This event will include dozens of options for training in church ministries and leadership roles including youth, worship, finance, trustees, and others.  Innovative topics in the past have included ways to do cooperative ministry, how to connect with global ministries, and even how to make the church building more environmentally friendly and cost effective. Workshops are designed to help inspire people to enhance their ministries in their local church and community.  Participants will also be able to attend two different workshops.

The church will cover the $8.00 fee for each person who attends.  If you would like to attend, see Pastor Tim.  Deadline is Friday, January 17.
